SteelCeram acquires ApCeram assets and strengthens its leadership in advanced technical ceramics
On November 11, 2025, SteelCeram SL has formalized the acquisition of the production assets and goodwill of ApCeram, marking a key strategic step in its growth and consolidation plan within the advanced technical ceramics sector.
This operation allows SteelCeram to significantly expand its portfolio of solutions, incorporating sintered silicon carbide (SSiC) as a new high-performance material, recognized for its excellent resistance to wear, corrosion and extreme working conditions.
In addition to the technological expansion, the integration of the know-how of both companies strengthens the technical, production and development capabilities of customized solutions, positioning SteelCeram as a Spanish benchmark in advanced technical ceramics.
During 2025, SteelCeram will continue to focus its activity in strategic sectors such as:
